Senior Open - 08/03/08
Sophie: 2
Wins 2 Losses. Although Sophie wasn't on her best form, she still achieved
two good wins and managed to get to the Bronze Medal final. Some of the new
techniques we have been working on in training showed great promise, so overall
a satisfactory weekend’s work.

Mini Mon Competition - 09/03/08
Noah: 3
Wins 0 Loss - Gold. Another great performance from Noah, who displayed a wide
range of attacking judo.
Luke: 3
Wins 0 Loss - Gold. Luke maintained his 100% win rate with relative ease and
showed some very competent judo yet again.
Robert: 3 Wins
0 Loss - Gold. Robert pulled off some very unusual throwing techniques to
great effect.
Luca: 1
Win 2 Losses - Bronze. Luca is certainly growing into the whole competition
experience and performed one of the nicest throws of the day.
Megan: 2
Wins 0 Loss - Gold. Another very strong performance from Megan in both her
standing judo and her groundwork.
Henry: 2
Wins 1 Loss - Silver. Like Luca, Henry has embraced competition judo with great
effect and looks set for many more medals.
Thomas: 2
Wins 1 Loss - Silver. Thomas was making his competition debut and performed
superbly well to get two wins.
Tommy: 3
Wins 0 Loss - Gold. Tommy was in sparkling form, switching between attacks and
displaying some very skilful judo.
Anaya: 2
Wins 0 Loss - Gold. Anaya is really managing to transfer her judo training to
the contest arena with great effect.
Alex D: 1
Win 2 Losses - Bronze. A Competition debut for Alex, in which he managed to
"find his feet" well enough to pick up a good win on the ground.
Alex J: 3
Wins 0 Losses - Gold. Alex put on a very good display, both in his
standing judo and his groundwork.
For the second weekend
running (Thetford last weekend) our Club was the most successful club of
the day. This Sunday we sent 11 players and picked up 7 Golds, 2 Silvers and 2
Bronzes. Well done to all the players and a big THANK YOU to the parents,
family and friends for coming along to support.
