Hi
All,
Sunday certainly was a busy weekend, we had 23 players competing in 4 different
tournaments right across the country. From those 23 players we gained 20 medals
- 6 Gold, 9 Silver 5 Bronze.

Eleanor Cooke 1 Win 1 Loss - Silver
Good to see Eleanor pick
up a well deserved win. Should boost her confidence for future events.
Alex Jackson 2 Wins 0 Loss - Gold
Two strong victories from
Alex and good to see him back to his winning ways.
Graham McCallister 0 Win 3 Losses -
Bronze
No wins on the day, but a
far improved performance from Graham.
Megan Maskell 1 Win 1 Loss - Silver
Bounced back well from an
opening loss.
Luke Maskell 4 Wins 0 Loss - Gold
Four straight wins for
Luke, was very impressive yet again.
Noah Lawson 2 Wins 1 Loss - Silver
Was probably involved in
fight of the day and displayed some brilliant judo.
Robert Parker 2 Wins 1 Loss - Silver
Two fine wins from Robert
with some neat judo.
Anaya Lewin 1 Win 1 Loss - Silver
Great to see Anaya taking
a well deserved win.
Chloe Payne 2 Wins 0 Loss - Gold
A well deserved Gold for
Chloe with some strong judo.
Eleanor Bass 1 Win 2 Losses - Bronze
Looked very good in her
last contest after a sluggish start to the day.
Henry Reynolds 2 Wins 2 Losses -
Bronze
Henry did brilliantly well
in his first full competition to pick up two wins.
Luca Ripa 1 Win 3 Losses - Bronze
Competition debut
for Luca, grew as the day went on, looks good for future competition
success.
Jos Goddard 4 Wins 0 Loss - Gold
Was back to near
his best and simply blew the opposition away.
Joe Moore 2 Wins 1 Loss - Silver
Joe is ever improving and
did well to take two victories.
Sam Barker 2 Wins 1 Loss - Silver
Showed great judo skills
in his two wins.
Jake Barker 3 Wins 0 Loss - Gold
Very strong performance
from Jake, well deserved Gold.
Aston Davis 2 Wins 0 Loss - Gold
Never really troubled, and
has been in great form of late.
Berhampstead
Schools - 02/03/08
Becky Green 2 Wins 2 Losses - Bronze
Two strong wins from Becky
in her first competition.
Ben Green 0 Wins 1 Loss - Silver
Only one other boy in
Ben’s group who was much bigger.
North West Age
Banded - 02/03/08
Zoë Camp 0 Wins 2 Losses
A decent opening contest,
but Zoë rather lost her way in the second.
Jonny Pettinger 0 Wins 2 Losses
Not Jonny's best ever
performance, caught cold in his 1st contest and should have won his
2nd.
Richard Frost 2 Wins 2 Losses
Two good wins from Richard
in a very strong group of lads.
Southern Area
Senior Open - 02/03/08
Richard Black 2 Wins 1 Loss - Silver
Richard was in great
form to pick up two good wins and only loose out to the reigning National
Masters Champion.
Whilst this was a very busy weekend, it was fantastic for the club to be
represented at so many events and with such great success. With such a healthy
number of truly competitive players I guess weekends such as this will be come
more and more common.
